On September 9th of this year, my husband will be marking his 2 year anniversary post Bone Marrow Transplant. It has been a long battle over the last 4 years, since he was first diagnosed in 2009 with AML - Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We have been through chemotherapy, remission, relapse, more chemotherapy, transplant and recovery. Are there still issues? Yes. GVHD still pops up, sun allergies, meds, and such, but all in all, life is back to "normal" or at least the new normal. So to all those who have visited in the past, I am happy to give you this update, and hope it is encouraging to anyone out there facing what we have been through the past few years.
Besides all that, I am redoing the site a bit and adding all the scrapbook kits to the front page, and also I am going to be adding in some recyceld craft projects here and there as well.
Thanks for visiting, and keep on checking in!
My name is Miles, and I am now almost 7 years old. This is me and my Daddy, my Daddy was very sick, he had leukemia. We found out in June 2009, and since then, my Daddy has been to the hospital for lot's and lot's of treatments. He got better for a little while, but then he had to get a Bone Marrow Transplant! It has been tough for my Daddy, for my Mommy, and for me! My daddy still has lots of hospital visits, but he has gotten much better, and has not been sick for almost 2 years now!!! Mommy used to make digital scrapbook kits, but had to stop since she didn't have time anymore, with Daddy being sick. We thought we would give all her kits she has made away for free, but if you like them, maybe you can donate to help my Daddy's medical expenses. Thanks for reading!

- My husband, son, and I live along America's North Coast in the beautiful Michigan UP. Our life was turned upside down in the summer of 2009 when my husband was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). One minute he was in the ER for what we thought was a nasty case of bronchitis, the next thing we know, he was diagnosed with blood cancer, and was rushed by ambulance to the "big" hospital 3 hours away where he underwent induction chemo for almost 5 weeks. After 6 months of chemo treatments, he went into remission, but his AML relpased in April of 2011. He has been through induction chemo again, and 1 consolidation chemo, and now we are starting the long journey of a bone marrow transplant. As far a digi scrapping goes, I used to run desertscraps.com, but I kind of had to "close shop" when my husband was diagnosed, and am just releasing all my kits I made here as freebies.
